Warsztaty z zakresu tłumaczeń prawniczych z Sarah Hall z City University London

11 maja 2011 roku odbyły się warsztaty na temat tłumaczeń prawniczych z Sarah Hall z Department of Creative Practice and Enterprise z City Unviersity London. Warsztaty odbyły się w ramach programu Erasmus Teacher Mobility. Sarah Hall to kierownik studiów MA in Legal Translation, jest z wykształcenia filologiem i prawnikiem (Cambridge University).

Biogram Sarah Hall

Sarah Hall, Director, Legal Translation MA, City University London

Sarah has a first degree in Modern Languages and Law from Cambridge University, and started her career working as a solicitor in the litigation department of an international firm in the City.

She then re-trained as a teacher and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Bradford University, and a Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She subsequently worked overseas in British Council Teaching Centres.

She then returned to the UK to do an MA in TESOL and Applied Linguistics at the Institute of Education in London. Sarah joined City University London in September 2004, initially working in the Centre for Language Studies.

Sarah was involved in the preliminary research for the development of the MA Legal Translation, and co-designed the course. Following the establishment of the Centre for Translation Studies in 2009, Sarah became full time course leader on the MA Legal Translation.
