Legal and literary translation workshops by Sarah Hall and Karen Seago, Ph.D.

From the 14th to 15th May 2013 the Chair of Translation Studies for the third time received Sarah Hall and Karen Seago, Ph.D., from City University London.

The workshop prepared by Sarah Hall was devoted to legal English and the idiosyncrasies of legal texts; its participants were the first year B.A. Translation Studies students. Karen Seago, Ph.D., led a workshop on translating popular literature (children’s literature, science-fiction).
