Since 2012                    Scientific and editorial supervision over a chapter on contemporary translation theories in the „Przekładając nieprzekładalne IV” volume of articles co-translated by MA English Translation Studies students (Translating the Untranslatable 4)  

 

Since 2008                    Research work for a doctoral dissertation on the application of interpreting skills for translation purposes

 

 

2011                             Observation-based study on the interpretation of sensitive terms performed by interpreting course students in the UG Institute of English; resulted in a conference paper;

 

                                    Observation-based study on reformulation in simultaneous interpreting as applied by  interpreting course students in the UG Institute of English; resulted in a chapter in a volume awaiting publication;

 

                                    Observation-based study on professional interpreters in the North of Poland during Poland’s Presidency in the Council of the European Union; resulted in a lecture delivered at a meeting hosted by the Sopot Association for the Advancement of Science.

Since 2003                    regular interpreting services of consecutive, simultaneous and liaison mode at local and international events and meeting related to business, finance, entrepreneurship, maritime economy, logistics, cross-border and international cooperation, law, politics (incl. meetings with Polish presidents Lech Wałęsa and Lech Kaczyński), science, state defence, social issues, culture and arts (continuous cooperation with the Gdansk Shakespearan Theatre, the Theatrum Gedanense Foundation and the Laznia Centre for Contemporary Art., among others); close cooperation with individual and institutional clientsw and with major transaltion agencies in Poland (e.g. Lidex, Skrivanek, Akon and Artron)
